Staub weht durch die maroden Straßen der Wastelands. In diesem Zwiespalt aus erkämpfter Freiheit und einer allgegenwärtigen dystopischen Zukunft erheben sich die Klänge von Stray Bullet Woman.
Durch die Genrebandbreite der Bandmember entsteht Musik, die sich nicht in diese „eine“ Schublade stecken lässt. Zeitgemäß und ehrlich.
“Die Musik drückt das aus, was nicht gesagt werden kann und worüber zu schweigen unmöglich ist.” Besondere Umstände erfordern besondere Ausdrucksarten. Das darf auch mal weh tun und dazu einladen, sich selbst zu reflektieren. Mit der Grazer female-fonted Rockband, Stray Bullet Woman, meldet sich eine Newcomer Formation zu Wort, die aufmischen will.
Stray Bullet Women geht es darum mitzureißen, ohne das klassische Sex, Drugs and Rock´n´Roll-Schema zu bedienen. Die Zerrissenheit, aber auch der Wille weiter zu machen, spiegelt sich in den Songs wider. Mitreissende Rhythmen und harmonische Klänge vereinen sich mit Texten, die teils humorvoll, teils bittersüß aktuelle Themen aufgreifen und den Zuhörer berühren. Aus den unterschiedlichen musikalischen Hintergründen entsteht eine Klanglandschaft, die fesselt und bewegt.
Jeder der 4 Bandmember bringt seine Stärken ein und so entsteht ein ganz eigener, eindringlicher Sound.
Die Lieder erzählen von den kleinen und großen Dramen, von Geschichten die nur das Leben schreiben kann und den Hürden die es zu überwinden gilt.
„Come inside my head and watch a world arising all around you“ heißt es in dem Song „Inside my head“ und Stray Bullet Woman erschafft diese für euch. - Entflieht für einen kurzen Moment dem Alltag und kommt mit in die Wastelands.

This possibility sometimes hurts and invites you to reflect yourself. With the Wildon female-fronted rock band, Stray Bullet Woman, a newcomer formation that wants to shake things up, has come forward.
Stray Bullet Women is about getting carried away, without following the classic stereotypes of sex, drugs and rock‘n‘roll. The conflict, but also the will to carry on, is reflected in the songs. Intoxicating rhythms and harmonious sounds are combined with lyrics, that take up current topics, sometimes humorously and sometimes bittersweetly, to touch the listener. The different musical backgrounds creates a sound landscape that captivates and moves.
Each of the 4 band members contributes their strengths and this creates their own, urgent sound.
The songs tell about the small and big dramas, of stories that only life is able to write and the hurdles that need to be overcome.
